This blog contains both my own and other people's photos. I do not claim any rights on the photos that aren't my own and I shall credit them when at all possible. However, if a photo of yours has been used and you would not like me to use them then feel free to flick me an email and I'll be happy to remove it.
Yay! The new Florence & The Machine album called Ceremonials came out about a week ago. I haven't had time to have a good listen to it yet but I love the song "Shake It Out". The music video is crazy too, there's so much going on I just don't know where to look! Haha.
Also, here's an acoustic version of one of my favourite songs on her old album. Florence Welch you are one talented musician!
Without even realising it, I've been collecting a whole lot of inspiration photos with the theme of white and metallic embellishments. How amazing are those collar caps(?) Does anyone know if you can buy them separately so you can add them to any collar? Also, how beautiful is THAT dress!
I've been on the lookout for an 'embellished' top to wear out at night. I can just imagine it now paired with black high waisted skinny jeans and heels...
This is the nail polish I wore for Graduation Dinner. I borrowed it off my best friend, Emma (HI!! And thanks for letting me use it!) I'm contemplating just stealing it... It's just so pretty. It's Revlon and called Copper Penny (932)
And here are some photos from my Graduation Dinner! So sad that I'm going to have to part with some of these lovely friends I've made over the past 5 years... It really was such a wonderful night that ended in dancing, singing and taking a heap of photos! High School is finally over forever, Victoria University here I come!
P.s. photos are from a number of different cameras so that's why the quality is kind of bad in some of them...
So my VERY last day at school tomorrow... I don't know how I feel about it. Kind of sad but kind of excited for what the future holds! I have prizegiving tomorrow afternoon and then Graduation dinner at night. This is what I'm planning to wear at the dinner. The dress is vintage and I'm lucky enough to be borrowing it off a friend who has kindly lent it to me for the night. Now to decide on lip colour and gold or silver earrings... Any preferences?
I'll post photos of the complete outfit hopefully in the next couple of days!
Hi everyone, sorry it's been a while... I'm only two weeks away from final exams and I have a week left of high school till I'm finished forever! So lately, life has been so busy studying, practising piano and just mentally preparing myself for the end of school.
Anyway, when I came across these photos on HonestlyWTF, it made me die a little inside because if I could go on holiday anywhere right now, it would be Greece! This place is absolutely beautiful, so rich in culture and history and I love the beaches and white buildings. I've been studying Greece and
Rome in Classical Studies and to actually go to the places I've read about on paper would be the MOST amazing experience in the world!
AAAAAHHH! I can't wait till Summer! It's now daylight savings in New Zealand and Summer feels like it's just around the corner... There's no words that can describe how much I can't wait for exams to be over... I only have just over a month of High School left... FOREVER! I can't believe that these 5 years of high school are nearly going to be over... But I think it's about time for a change and I'm really looking forward to going to Uni next year. Anyway, I've been wasting my time scouring the internet looking for the perfect sunglasses and togs for my many lazy days on the beach and I think I've found them! The sunglasses are from Asos and the bikini is from River Island. The bikini is quite similar to the Topshop ones I wanted a while ago but they all sold out... Fingers crossed that these won't before I buy them!
My inspiration folder is overloading! These remind me of summer... I'm counting down the days until school is over FOREVER! Can't wait for the sun, beach, pretty dresses, flowers, white clothes and blue skies!
I couldn't help but notice that this model showed up in practically EVERY NZ Fashion Week show... I had recognised her from somewhere and finally realised that she was the face for Twentysevennames back in the spring/summer 2010/2011 collection... Ella Verberne has already made a name for herself and I'm sure I'm going to see her in a lot more things...
Currently NZ Fashion Week is happening and yet again I haven't made it to Auckland to join in the fun... So I've had to console myself by scouring the internet for the latest news and by following NZ fashion bloggers who have been lucky enough to be a part of the festivities. The much anticipated Ruby collection named "The Captial City" was showcased the other day and I'll be waiting for the official photos to be coming out later on. In the meantime, here is the Spring '11 collection... I love how Ruby always stays true to the brand's aesthetics, soft feminine and modern. And also how it's all so wearable!
P.s. Sorry I've been so distant lately... School mock exams are next week so I will be extremely busy until after then...
